We put together a special Japanese and English supplement insert for Issue #389 of IDEA titled “The Global Style: Modernist Typography After Postmodernism”.
This 16-page text, printed in black and gold spot colors, was curated by Renna Okubo and Ian Lynam and comprises our first release under our Corinthians Press moniker.
Corinthians Press seeks to introduce canon-expanding texts to both Japanese and English language readers from critics across the globe that help expand current definitions of art and design in meaningful ways.
The primary text for The Global Style was written by Mr. Keedy is about the style of graphic design after Postmodernism and is accompanied by two texts written by Ian that help to contextualize exactly what “The Global Style” is as it applies to the Japanese design context.
